ABOUT THIS PROJECT
Serving individuals with developmental disabilities
This 8-hour interactive eLearning course is integrated into a business web application used by day and homecare providers who work with individuals with developmental disabilities. The solution communicates with their system to report tracking and student information back to the app. The course was developed using Adobe Captivate and uses custom JavaScript code for quizzes, all interactivity, and for integrating into a MYSQL database.
This course is part of every-expanding library of courses that have been developed for providers who work with individuals with developmental disabilities.
SCREENSHOTS.
There are over 300 screens in this course with interactive exercises, real-world scenarios, quizzes, and informational material. Students must achieve 80% or higher on the quizzes for a passing grade. When they complete a module and pass the quiz, they receive a certificate of completion.
DEMONSTRATION.
Video demonstration
This short video demonstrates just a few of the many interactive learning activities that can be found in the course.
Several of the non-graded learning activities are challenging, however, there was a conscious effort not to get too tricky with the quiz questions. The idea is to prepare users to work with, and care for individuals with developmental disabilities, not to be experts in the nuances of certain material.
